Hancock (2008)
I just feel sorry for the idea of this movie. All the potential lost in the end. It started great, even thou Will Smith with a little beard didn't really pass as a drunk, but still it was quite funny and entertaining. I was thinking this could be a great movie and even the introduction of the pr man and his family didn't bring down the mood. The head up the ass scene had me actually cheering and I thought this is quite brilliant. But towards the end it goes really wrong. After the "rise" of Hancock the movie looses it's grip as it seems to forget that it started as a comedy. The end is like a blatant ripoff from X-men which didn't fit the movie at all. First 50 minutes or so would have been easily worth four points, but the end left me with quite a bad feeling. Can't bash it to the ground just for that, so I'll give it some points for the head up the ass scene and for the idea of the movie, which unfortunately wasn't fully used to it's potential.
