The American (2010)
The mood in this movie was quite brilliant. It's not an action packed thriller like you might think from the trailers, it's more of an melodrama and most of the "action" is a struggle in the main character's feelings. The cast is great and the settings are quite brilliant with the Italian town being almost like a character by itself. Also was nice to see some Finnish scenery and actors in a Hollywood movie. With those kinds of settings and good cinematography the movie looked great. But even though the mood, the setting and the cast was great, unfortunately the movie is not exactly great. The script is very thin and even though this gives the characters a lot more space, it was still lacking content a bit too much. Even with a dull story this movie worked surprisingly well, mostly because of the mood in it. All in all was worth the watch but could have been a lot better too.

Definitely will give this movie a try. I'm still waiting for some good movie with Clooney since Ocean's
Definitely Burn After Reading (2008) is worth watching and Up in the Air (2009) wasn't that bad either. Also The Men Who Stare at Goats (2009) worked for me.
