Sheitan (2006)
Vincent Cassel is the whole show here as a deeply disturbing and totally nuts French hillbilly redneck. A brilliant character that is scary and still somehow hilarious. Definately worth watching just for the character and Cassel's performance. Even thou it's close to being a one man show there's still a bit more to the movie than just Cassel. The story isn't the freshest and parts of it are a bit too predictable but there's still quite a few twists to keep it interesting enough. There's also a few scenes that are really outrageous. For example I found myself asking did I really need to see that dog scene at the hot-spring? As a first feature length direction Kim Chapiron makes a solid job and I'm guessing we're going to hear more of him in the future. Anyways don't want to spoil it too much but if you're into black humor, weird characters and some horror, this is worth watching.
