Return of the Living Dead Part II (1988)

Everyone has one of those movies which were simply brilliant when you saw it the first time, but then later after years you wonder how the hell could have I ever liked that movie. This was one of those cases for me. When I was younger I loved this one, I wore down the old VHS tape watching it too much. Then later I somehow forgot this one untill I found it at the discount bin of my local super market. I thought whoa, lets do a nostalgia trip and I bought it. Well nostalgia trip it turned out to be, but not in the way I wanted. It shattered all my precious memories of the movie. It wasn't that funny anymore, and most of the time I just laughed at the corny campy dialog and the bad effects. But it wasn't bad enough to be brilliant. It was just bad. Learned again that not all movies are worth watching again no matter how good you remember them being. I always considered the sequel in this series was better than the original, I have to change my opinion. The original is a masterpiece compared to this one. Some points for some of the quite funny dialog and Michael Jackson.
