Big Trouble in Little China (1986)
Watched this classic again for the 10th time or something and it still works quite brilliantly. Dunno why but I've always loved this one and even thou it's quite campy for modern standards, the campyness isn't all that I love about it. It's a fun action packed adventure that brings you to a good mood. It's ironical, clever, yet naive, over the top and most of all entertaining. It's basically what Quentin Tarantino did on Kill Bill, a mixture of what's good on different genres. It's a movie where you don't need to use your brain, just let it take you on a wild weird ride. One of my all time favourites from John Carpenter and a true masterpiece.
