Day of the Dead (2008)

There's remakes that actually find new angles of the old story peviously overlooked and are worthy updates of old movies. Then there's remakes that are just updated version of the old movie with varying results. And then there's the remakes that have nothing more than the name in common to the old movie. This falls into the last category. Besides the name and the zombies it has nothing to do with Romero's zombie classic Day of the Dead. It's a total waste of time and a horrible attempt to cash in with the name. Ten percent for the mother scene which was kinda funny in it's twisted way, besides that 20 second or so, it's just horrid crap.
