Rushmore (1998)
Never seen this before. Dunno what put me off but somehow never had the mood to watch it. But as I've seen some good movies from Wes Anderson, I decided to finally give it a try. Well it turned out to be quite an ok comedy. Can't understand all the hype it got when it was released as sure it is clever, but at parts it tries to be too clever falling apart from the nice flow it had. That made it seem funny, but at the same time it didn't really make me laugh. Kind of like comedy that you just notice to be quite fun, but you don't burst out laughing. That's not always a bad thing, but on this one it just rubbed me the wrong way. Otherwise it's a solid little movie with a nice wibe to it. Was worth watching but I really hoped a bit more from it.
