Nice little stunt show

Somehow missed this when it came out and never ended up seeing it even though it popped up every once and a while. When I saw that they are planning on making a Hollywooded remake of it I decided it's finally time to check it out. And I'm glad I did. Seeing the cheesy poster art and the DVD cover I didn't have my hopes up, but it managed to surprise me. Won't go into the story as it's thin and full of nonsense, but that's not the main thing in this one. The main thing is the action and there's plenty of it. What I liked most about this were the stunts, some of them were quite insane and would make even Jackie Chan jealous. Sure some of them were done with a bit of wire magic and CGI, but most of them looked real and that's a huge plus in my book as nowadays the "stunts" in a big action movie tend to be computer generated people bending the laws of physics. So that real looking action worked great for this one. Not much else good to say about the movie itself as it was quite fast consumed entertainment, but as a fast paced action movie it delivered enough to keep me very entertained. But then again that's pretty much all you need in a no brainer action flick.
