This movie kicks ass

Kick-Ass (2010)

At start I was a bit worried what this movie would turn out to be as right after the hilarious opening it turned into a teen comedy. Luckily my fears were for nothing as it really turned out to be one hell of a movie. The cast was quite great and I have to give special mention to Nicolas Cage who is simply hilarious, great performance. Another one definitely worth mentioning is Chloe Moretz as Hit-Girl, great performance by this young girl. The comedy is quite dark and thus very much to my liking, I mean you laugh out loud when a 12 year old kid chops up a room full of thugs. It's so wrong and yet so freaking awesome. Sure the story is a bit common, but it's supposed to be as it makes fun of the whole superhero idea and teen problems in general. Can't find anything major to complain about, all in all a brilliant movie. As the name states this movie kicks ass big time.
