Where in the world is common sense?

Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden? (2008)

Morgan Spurlock made a great documentary about the American food culture with Super Size Me which raised some quite relevant issues of the problem. So I was excited to see what he can come up with the issue of Al Qaida and Osama Bin Laden. Sadly not much. The main thing this documentary has to say is that not all of the Muslims are terrorists, well surprise surprise, like we didn't know that. And what really pisses me off is that it's actually brought out as it would be a big surprise. Yes, I know it's aimed for the not too bright average American, but come on, I bet they could have thought something a bit better as the subject is so complex there's many sides you could look at it. Don't get me wrong, it does scratch the surface of the right issues, but too bad it's something we've seen already a million times. That aside the documentary is quite entertaining and it has a good pace all through it. Didn't like the addition of his wife and unborn child to the story as the emotions they were clearly trying to bring out were missed quite badly. Thou I did feel a bit sorry for him for missing the early moments of his unborn child for this nonsense he was running around the world for. So basically if you don't have a slightest clue of what a Muslim is, this is an entertaining documentary for you. Those who have a bit wider view of the world, don't bother wasting time with this one.
