Inside Job (2010)
Funny enough the tagline of this documentary is quite brilliant; "The film that cost $20,000,000,000,000 to make". Funny, but as it's in a way also true, it's quite sad too. Well I could go on ranting about what's wrong in the world and how fucked up it is that the rich keep getting richer while the poor keep getting poorer, but I won't. Guess I'm all out of angst today. This documentary is a look into the financial meltdown, what caused it, what it's results were and what was done about it. Won't go into the topic that much as it just pisses me off, but this is a good topic, if for nothing else to see how the richest 1 percent of the world buttfuck the rest of the 99 percent. So it's a topic well worth watching and the documentary is done in a very professional manner. Nothing to complain there. The only thing, and what I've already criticised in other documentaries is that for once it would be nice to see a documentary which actually would try to do something about the cause. They just document what's messed up but never try to correct anything. Like in this one they wonder why the hell no one sued those investment bank leaders as they broke the law. Why wouldn't the makers of this document sue them or at least tried to find someone who would? Well anyways it's a well made documentary on a huge subject so it's well worth the watch.
