Unknown (2006)
Oh, I just hate to see all the potential lost. This movie had the idea for a brilliant movie, but it takes the usual routes too often to be anything but your average thriller mystery. Think about it, I bet anyone of you can come up with better stuff to do with 5 guys who all have lost their memory, but all of them know 2 of them are kidnapped businessmen and 3 of them are the kidnappers. Even thou I would like to bash it to the ground as a total crap just because of that, but I can't as there's many things that really work. It's still quite intense and paced really well. Also the cast is surprisingly good with everyone doing really good performance. It looks good and is entertaining enough to not make you bored. Also it's shot quite nicely. But they mess it up by going the too predictable way and giving up hints way too soon for the viewer to figure it out. Also the twist at the end wasn't used as good as it could have been. Now it just feels like it's thrown in there because they messed the mystery up too soon. Still worth the watch, but won't take another one.
